The young guy who checked me in was very unprofessional, I booked for a king bed, but I got a twin disabled room which I hate, I bought a large bottle of water for the night, when I try to open it it was open it mean they sale tap water late night they think the guest is drunk, that’s very cheap and wrong, but another night the girl she was working in the bar was very friendly and helpful.

Easy check in. Parking was underground and they give you a ticket so you can go in and out as many times as you want. My car was small enough, but a large van might not fit. Best to call ahead if you aren't sure. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It is only five minutes walk to the train station and all public transportation to historic Potsdam, and to Berlin. Room was sparsely funished but the bed was comfortable. My room looked out into the courtyard and the window could open all the way which was nice. AC was basic - be aware that you can only control fan speed, and set the temperture +3 or -3 degrees from their base tempertature.

Loved the breakfast. Fantastic! Staff cordial, place is friendly and clean. Location was difficult to get to from train station. The building felt like a hostel. Needed a working restaurant; had to go out for dinner and lunch. No English channels provided; at least a news station would have felt inclusive.
