Rat Hotel

This was the most disgusting place ive ever been in my whole life. Walking up 3 rats were crawling out of the trash can and it was right next to the front door. Also there were 2 police cars sitting out front by the door as well. When going into the room it smelled dirty and musty. Then there were 4 rat traps scattered all over the room. I went into the bathroom and there were nasty handprints all over the shower door and the carpet was clean. It was jusg disgusting so we immediately went and checked out.

I never leave a bad review but this place was bad. Clerk was unhelpful when asked about local dining. Room smelled like a wet dog. Bathroom door was absolutely disgusting, doubt it has ever been cleaned. Back door into the hotel was open, didn’t close or lock. Only one guest bath towel for two people, coffee grounds provided but no maker. Would not recommend!

Good place to stay for a short visit

The place was clean, as was the room. The gentleman that checked us in was professional, but not necessarily friendly. The remote in our room did not work - we could only get one channel. As we had been traveling all day, we just went to sleep. The breakfast was eggs and sausage. It was good and the eating area was very clean. The woman that was working in that area, and every other staff member we met, was extremely friendly and professional. Overall, a good place to stay. Clean, quiet, and for the most part, a friendly staff. There was coffee and tea and newspapers available in the lobby. I would definitely stay again.

Everything went fine, with the exception of the phone in my room #233 did not work. Also, before checking in, I make a few attempts to call the hotel's front desk for questions about my reservation, and no one answered the phone at all. I noticed that the workers on the evening and night shifts are never at the front desk. This may explain why no one ever answers phone during the times that I called.

Beds were ready for replacement. There was a basket of coffee fixings but no coffee pot. I mentioned it every day and never got one, or reason. Our room was never visited by cleaning crew, again, no reason why. We were able to get clean towels at front desk. Glad there was hot water in shower.

Staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, but some of the furniture was a little shabby. Refrigerator available, but no microwave. Good as a place to crash for the night (as the name suggests). Other patrons were quiet. The office park is a bit desolate on weekends, but King Farms shops and restaurants are a short drive away.
