I dont understand the high rating on this hotel. Yes, the location is good and the staff are friendly. But, the positives end there. My room was more like a hunting cabin, with uneven floors, holes in the drywall, missing receptacle covers and a questionable furnace. I was in the satellite building; maybe the rooms in the main building are better. I recommend spending more money and looking elsewhere.
The front desk service was amazing, they were attentive and attend everything we needed.
The bed were not to comfortable. Overall really good option to stay.
Location is great, right in the heart of the Village. It was easy to find and accessible. From this location you can walk to most restaurants and bars.
Room was in good condition. Booked a non-smoking room but I believe we were put in a smoking room anyway since the furniture gave off a smoker’s odor. Unfortunately, coffee machine was also dirty.
Some minor inconveniences but overall we enjoyed our stay. Very easy check-in and check-out. I give this property an 8/10. Hope to visit again soon!
My girlfriend and I needed a quick get away from reality. We love going to big bear. I looked up hotels near big bear village. Came across Robinhood Resort. The room was shockingly affordable given the fact that it was a last minute trip planning. The room was nice, spacious and convenient. Only problem was the A/C wasn't working, but we turned on the fan and opened the window. After a while the room temp was cool. The location was amazing. The shops and restaurants are all with in walking distance. So the late night walk back was no issue. We were sad that it was only for one night, but we will for sure stay again for future trips. Check in/check out was a breeze.
We found the place very close & convenient to the village and all marin activities & attractions. The only drawback was for us to be on the first floor and the place being an old cabin, we had constant noise above our head, hearing people walkings and talks. It's also very close to the street and at times, you'd hear very loud cars & bikes going by till late at night.
I had the spa room across the street. #24.. kinda disappointed. My room had ants and I think I killed 100+ ants.. from around the refrigerator, table, coffee table & floor… I’d kill them with a wet paper towel and they would come back eventually.
Another thing is the WIFI didn’t work.. for the price, you would think WIFI would work but it never worked during my 2 nights.
This infestation of ants & the WiFi were the only issues I had.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff was nice, being in the village was convenient but very loud and busy. Our bed was very old and uncomfortable, one side was literally slanted, hardly slept at all. Shower head was so low we could barely wash our hair without having to squat. AC didn’t work so the room was always warm. Parking is difficult and packed. Once you get a spot you basically have to stay put or you won’t find another spot if you leave.
