The staff at the front counter was amazing and very helpful! The property is under construction, which I did not realize when I booked. It’s noisy and the bed was quite hard, but the surrounding area and location are wonderful.

Don’t go in May
it is being refurbished during may 2024 so avoid it. There is little service. It was the first hotel I have ever stayed when one could not get a cup of tea. There is no breakfast,lunch or dinner. Metro is an arduous climb. My wife. Likes a hot water bottle, no hot water available. The following night Xavier (Havier) did the needful. Location is stunning,but a hostel would be better.

On the beach - literally
Nice Hotel on the beach in Getxo, Bilbao. Excellent view from the room towards the beach. The restaurants were closed for renovation / change of owner and this meant no food was available in the hotel. There are restaurants close by and this covered up for this.

Primera impresión al llegar bastante negativa, ningún tipo de iluminación en las escaleras de acceso al hotel, recepción con horario muy limitado, interior del hotel en bastante mal estado, la habitación con una decoración muy austera, sin ningun cuadro y todo de color beige, solo 2 capsulas de cafe y no leche en ,a habitación,televisión muy pequeña, no usb points, no canales de televisión internacionales, rodapies en muy mal estado, buenas vistas a la playa de Ereaga, no buffet de desayuno tuvimos que usar el buffett del hotel Tamarises, las areas comunes del hotel en muy mal estado y muy poco cuidadas, el hotel en si necesita una reforma total.

The hotel is in a fantastic position on the beach. It is also close to Bilbao airport so ideal on day of arrival or the night before a return flight. There is free parking extremely closely which is also a bonus. The view from the bedroom window was super. However, I felt this hotel was expensive compared to others we had stayed in in this area of Spain. I also felt that this hotel was not kept to the high standard I had seen elsewhere. For example the glass doors entering the hotel were extremely dirty and did not look as if they had been cleaned for some time. The bedroom had clearly been updated recently and on first glance looked good. However the ensuite bathroom, for example, had not been installed to a high standard and the finish was poor. Had I have paid less, I might have not considered all this an issue. However, given that it is not a cheap hotel I would have expected a better standard. I suspect this hotel is able to rest on its laurels because of its unbeatable position.

Magic!
Great hotel in a lovely spot, I spent 3 years in the area as ateenager and returned after 45 years. Clean with friendly local people, found our way to our old home walking. It was magical and enchanting. We had a seaview room that was wonderful! We sat on the large window seat, sipping wine and watching dogs dig onthebeach

Hotel con historia sin duda grata experiencia
Las habitaciones con vista al mar son un lujo por estar en primera línea, bastante espaciosas y cómodas, buena cama y almohadas y los baños bien, pero es más que evidente que el hotel está pensado ahora mismo, para eventos, ya que no cuenta con servicio a la habitación, la cafetería empieza el desayuno a las 9:30 y es independiente al hotel, las atenciones mínimas a pesar de que las chicas de recepción son muy amables, trabajan hasta las 22h.

Si vous n’aimez pas le bruit, fuyez ! Des portes qui claquent, des gens qui parlent fort (même à 2h du matin dans les couloirs). Le pompon, les bruits de camions et de travaux le matin… On n’a eu personne qui parle français sur place. Parking gratuit pour les résidents de l’hôtel mais que s’il y a quelqu’un à l’accueil pour ouvrir la barrière… plus personne à l’accueil à partir de 21h30 … literie correcte, chambre spacieuse. Mais hôtel qui a besoin d’être rafraîchi. Le seul avantage, accès direct à la plage. Ne correspond pas à un 4 étoiles
