We weren't interested in anything bougie. We just wanted a clean, affordable place to stay while in town to visit family, and we found that at the Dude. The staff is absolutely phenomenal, off street parking is a dream for weary out of town drivers, and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The motel is walking distance from wonderful eateries, bars, and downtown shopping. This will be the only place we stay when visiting in the future. Fantastic experience.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice in the old-timey cozy way. Beds are soft and warm. Jet tub and powerful showers are nice Good location for airport and walking downtown.

So I went into this stay with the proper expectations and it was a great stay. It’s a vintage hotel that’s a unique stay in downtown Billings. Always like to look for those unique places when on the road. It had everything you NEED for a nights stay at a good price. Downstairs rooms are direct access to the inner parking lot and there are rooms upstairs accessed thru the lobby. I would stay again if in the area.

Was disappointed that the fireplace is not used! Since that was their main photo I was looking forward to sitting there and enjoying it. Breakfast option a bit pricey at $8 but perhaps it is a big breakfast.

A super fun rustic mid-century cowboy motel, if you can imagine. It is not "dated" it is "vintage" thank you very much. It is even on the national historic register. Our room was fun and spotlessly clean and the staff was lovely, especially Hillary who checked us in. And breakfast was a crazy good deal--you so have to pay $8 for it but one breakfast burrito fed two of us.
