I had an excellent stay at the Northern Hotel. The front desk staff were terrific. I also had dinner at the 10 restaurant; the food was very good. What really made the difference for me was the food server. She is the nicest person I have ever met. She was sincerely interested in whether I like the food or not. Her service, smile and personality are second to none. I can't remember when I've had a more pleasant dinner that I did that night at 10.

Really nice hotel that is walkable to so much
The staff here are so nice. The rooms are nice and quiet and nicely done. Beds are comfortable. Bar downstairs had nice cocktails and breakfast at the diner was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel with great valet service. Check in was smooth, bar on site is good. Didn’t use restaurant for dinner (went elsewhere locally) or breakfast (there was a massive queue!) Gym was decent by hotel standards with free water and cold towels.

Bad experience. Toilet quick flushing and they did not have parts to fix it. Had to change rooms after unpacking at 11:00 pm. Sink in second room was clogged bit they were able to fix. Furnishings are old and need updating.

The classic Billings hotel. Good staff and all — BUT it takes in fumes from outside, especially at night, so that it smells like diesel exhaust. Made me a little sick. Couldn’t sleep. Front desk says they get these complaints every day. This was my last stay at The Northern.
