Our family was looking for a place close to Gulf Islands Water Park. This was a great place hopping on the interstate was there in no time. Hotel staff was so friendly and morning breakfast was so delicious.

Overall the property was good. The location was great. My room was spacious and that was a huge plus. I would visit again. A couple of things I didn't like. My room was right in front of the pool and the pool traffic was, heavy! Pool traffic lasted till11 pm. The shade that pulls down the window needs to be thicker. With the light on in the room, from the outside you can see in. That freaked me out pretty bad. People lounged at the table right in front of my window all night. It was really hard to sleep and I had to get up and travel the next morning.

The pool area was unique and well maintained, the room was small, but comfortable and clean. The location, just off of I-12, had multiple lanes without access. Local dining was very limited and driving to eat was a real pain.

We made it in town a few hours earlier than check in, which 4pm check in is ridiculously late, anyway I was charged a $25 plus tax fee to check in 2 hours early, only to find out that the pool was closed for cleaning, it never opened on that day, so my early check in to swim was a waste of money, so since the pool was down I requested a later time to check out so I could at least swim the next morning before leaving, they wanted to charge me an additional $25 to stay 1 hour past check out!! After I refused to pay Extra they texted me saying late check out wasn't allowed! The checkout girl with the rhinestone teeth and lashes was so short and rude
