I loved that the bathtub had a stopper for the drain. No other hotel I've stayed in had that, and it made taking a bath so much easier

Yes, the room was neglected!! First of all it's an old hotel. It's was cold outside the room felt like outside the heater didn't WORK!! Bought up a small heater and blanket that didn't help at all.. The toilet was so low ot felt like we wete sitting on the floor. My husband is almost 6 feet tall.. I won't be staying there anymore or recommending it to anyone!! The breakfast was great!!

I want to submit this review in two parts. First the good. The staff was great. The breakfast hit the spot. The mattresses were firm and room warm. On the negative side. the wall paper in the hall was peeling. I know that the said that renovation was occurring with the new ownership, but you have to keep up with the current building. There was a burn mark in the drape. The toilet paper holder had seen better decades, and the tub was stained. So, I think things will improve, but that will be then and not now.

The bathroom lighting was so deem barely could see. The carpet was horrible. Our feet were black after walking on it. Don't know the why they don't shampoos the carpet.
