The only hotel that room for 5 people not included open sofa bed. Needed to sleep 3 in bed because they had no solution. Lucky me it was only one night.

It was clean, safe and convenient for us. Definitely in an area where you could easily find anything you were looking for. We are originally from this area, but have been in VA for 25 years. Would definitely recommend this as a good place to stay. Great rate using Expedia.

Not likely to stay again

We were generally disappointed with the hotel and room. There was no terrible single experience, but the room was generally small, the shower was narrow enough that our elbows hit the wall or shower door while showering and and a number of the amenities (closet space, etc.) seemed to be design afterthoughts. The building's hall space is narrow enough that 2 guests passing with luggage was a bit challenging. The grout on the elevator floor is filthy and makes one wonder about the overall cleanliness of the building. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The free breakfast was good, but certainly not up to the standard of many hotels. We are unlikely to stay at another Hampton Inn and Suites property. I'm surprised the the Hilton name is prominently displayed on room key cards, etc. It doesn't enhance the property nor does it promote an image of Hilton as a premier name in the hospitality industry.

Room 103 - 2 issues requiring resolution

Room 103's electronically controlled window coverings not working. Unable to put black out shade down completely so gap of 10 inches allowed outside lighting in Extremely noisy folks in room above until 1 am. Insulation between floors is necessary to minimize noise level between floors. Clearly audible.
