Dirty Little Secret to 3rd party booking sites
I learned a dirty little secret of how some of these hotels are using the online booking sites other than their own brand booking. The room they gave us was beside the elevator door which normally wouldn't be a problem, but this elevator door made a squeeling noise each time it opened. I asked the front desk about this and I was told that the room I booked was the cheapest ! I guess that was an excuse to give us the worst room they could ! Of course on Hotels there are many rooms offered at the same price so you don't know this when booking. Also, there was black electrical tape over the TV and Microwave LED's so the Tv remote wouldn't work until I realized what someone had done. I guess the cleaners didn't notice that either. But then this must be the price you pay for the cheapest room on Hotels site !!

My room was not cleaned each day. The young lady didn't speak English so we used a translator, no problem. I asked that the sheets be charged as it was a 5 night stay. She responded ok, but same sheets each night. Towels were replaced, small trash cans emptied. I've seen better. The breakfast was decent, however the tangerines looked old. Over all a 6 scale of 1-10.
