The bathroom inside room was dirty and included men’s beard clippings in the sink along with a dead cockroach on the sink. The entire hotel had a bad smell. It was late September and still 90 degrees, yet staff did not permit guests to use outdoor pool. That was frustrating because my grandkids wanted to swim and there was plenty of swim season left. Will not stay again.

We had to move to a new room due to being dirty in some areas and smelling moldy. We were moved to a new room. However, the floors were sticky and we went and purchased an air freshener for the smell of the room.

My room smelled like urine. I think someone urinated in the air conditioner because the air blowing made it worse. Stayed 3 nights and it was terrible. No other rooms available and I was from out of country. Forced to stay in pee room for 3 nights. Not very happy.

Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint was the smell from the AC unit. It had a very unpleasant mildew smell. We had a decent stay overall.

Birthday visit to Birmingham

My birthday stay at the Comfort Inn had very clean rooms. Staff was nice and friendly. Parking lot was well lit and plenty of places to park. I didn't use laundry service. The stay was very pleasant with no issues.
