Traveling 80 plus.

We only stay at Drury Inns and traveling quite often. We have been at Birmingham Drury Inn before. Quite disappointed that the elevator wasn’t working again. Only service elevator was working. Being in the 80 plus age. Difficult to walk the distance. We are having problems getting a 2 room suite with 2 double beds, handicap. In every Drury Inns not enough 2 room with 2 queen beds, handicap. We love the friendly staff in all the Drury Inns. Cleanliness of the whole building. But don’t understand the pricing depending on dates and location. Have a great day, we’re heading to our next stay at Drury Inn on our travels.

Nice place to stay. Location was good for us. The room did a have a rattle when the durance ran which was all night. One of the elevators quit working while we were there which was a little inconvenient the pool and hot tub or in great working condition and nice breakfast and evening Hors d’oeuvres were very good.

I have a pet but this visit I didn’t have her with me. I remember when I first started staying at Drury the pets were no charge. It went to $5 per pet and now-is $50 per night. To me that is ridiculous why not charge the people that have pets that damage the room not all guest that have pets that are well behaved. If need be add an additional amount for cleaning. I’ve stayed at other properties that charge a reasonable amount for cleaning.
