This Hotel is well situated with lots going on around it. My room was a little disappointing, in need of a refurb and no AC and window that only opened slightly. For £160 i would have expected more . I have stayed in alot of Hotels in Birmingham and this was not great. On a positive, breakfast was good and staff were helpful and polite

Great location

Stayed 1 night to watch a show in the utilita arena. It’s a 5 minute walk to the arena, very easy to walk to & plenty of parking right next door to hotel. Definitely stay again, loads of restaurants & bars in the area too all walkable

Room had dirty cups and had to call to replace them as soon as we arrived. Shower is tiny and has sharp metal parts of old fixings sticking out in the room, also seems run down with flakey door and sink unit, beds are rock hard and keep moving when getting on and off them. I could hear noise from next room and banging in the night. The tv remote didn’t work and I had to ask for another one. Other than that staff were friendly, however took several attempts to answer reception phone. Ordered room service and the chicken strips were all batter and barely any chicken and the loaded waffle fries were cold! There was also dust in the air vents and I am asthmatic with heart failure. I was not impressed at all this time and only booked here again having enjoyed our last stay but now will look around for alternatives Much as I don’t expect it to be brand new I do expect a certain standard when it bares the Hilton name.

I stayed here for a short break with my 7year old son, and would come back in a heartbeat. He has a dairy allergy, and we were treated amazingly by Anoushka, Sophie and Gigi, who went completely out of their way to accommodate him without me even needing to ask, which is so unusual and made him feel so special and welcomed. The room was lovely, the bed amazing and comfy. Location is great even for the maze that is Brindleyplace. A great stay for Sea Life Birmingham and the Lego discovery centre. Please pass on my thanks to the people mentioned above, they really made the stay memorable for my son, and deserve so much praise.

Lovely area to stay. Quite pricy, but I guess you pay for staying close to where you need to be. The staff on the whole were great, more so the young man that checked me in and was trying to deal with the issue of Expedia not sorting the booking out correctly. His senior not so much, people who are not over friendly should not be customer facing. The rooms need to have more cables and updated ones that have USC and USB cable points in them. Luckily I take an international plug with me to assist with this when I go away. Very central location for ICC exhibitions and lots of food options for restaurants when dining. Some of which are tucked away from the main drag, but still only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food there. Would I stay again?, yes, but only on this occasion, when work are paying.

Good stay

Good location. Nice hotel with friendly staff. My only suggestions for improvement would be the onsite car park, difficult to get into, or exit and difficult narrow spaces so i would not use that in future. Also the bar was quite disappointing with limited cocktails and no dessert or port wine available although the bar staff were very friendly.
