We stay frequently at this hotel, and we much appreciate the value of the location in Coventry, and the adequacy of the facilities in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming in helping us with some requests. The main downside of our room this time is that the water in the sink really doesn't smell good at all - almost has a sewage scent.

First room was smelly. Bathroom looked like one from a caravan. The door wouldn't close. The tv screen was cracked. I asked to be give another room which was better but the smell was bad in both rooms. Hotel needs to updated. Has a feel of a youth hostel. Some may argue the price reflects the quality or lack of it….May be so but iv stayed cheaper B&B that wws better in every sense.

It's not 5-star but it's not meant to be. The staff were mostly lovely - helpful and friendly. Breakfast is decent but overpriced. TV wasn't set up properly but the staff sorted it out within minutes. Shower could have been maintained better, but everything was clean. Overall the management was average but the staff made up for any failings. Would I stay there again? Yes.

Decent stay, but possible safety concern to review
The room was a really good quality and while the air con didnt seem to work very well at all, just brought in our fan and it cooled it down pretty quick (though was also informed i could also have asked for one as could be provided). My main concern however was the bathroom, as when even a small amount of water was on the floor of the wetroom style bathroom it became very hazardous in the direct shower area and when trying to exit the bathroom, as myself and my partner slipped a fair few times causing sore ankles, quite bad bruising to my partners feet and nearly caused to fully slip over in the shower

Honest thoughts.
So hot and the fan did very little in cooling me down. Should have air con and not just a fan. Breakfast was not worth the extra money, better spent elsewhere. An absolute cheek that guests dont get to park their car for free! £6 per day. A fire alarm going off at 4am didn't help much either, but at least it works.

Good but concerned about electrical safety
Only one night stay. Room was reasonably clean, but I was concerned about electrical safety. There was a multi-socket plug on a bedside table; it was broken at the corner - with a hole. The plugs did not work. This is unacceptable. The room was quiet and comfortable. Excellent position for exploring Coventry. Staff good. A little disappointed with quality of breakfast - warm rather than hot dishes, small plates. No fresh fruit.
