Agreed and when I arrived I wasn’t given any of the expected perks as a VIP, discounts on food etc. I have stayed at this hotel many times but on this occasion it failed to sparkle with May disappointing issue with

Lovely comfortable bed. Super clean and well maintained room. Richard the manager took great care of us all - fantastic customer service. Only negative is the lifts - not enough lifts for such a big hotel.

I have stayed here multiple times and it has always been clean and comfortable. However the hotel is currently having some work done on the lifts and it is causing multiple problems. Regularly had to wait 10minutes for one to arrive (on the 13th floor) and walked down. Won’t be staying again until works are completed.
