Great stay!

Staff were very welcoming and served us promptly. They let us into the room early too as it was ready and didn’t chat us extra for the privilege, like a lot of hotels! Room was clean and tidy. Bed and duvet were comfortable. Hotel isn’t located that far away from the station and we were able to get to the bars quite quickly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel in a good location.

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable, modern room, excellent towels. Staff friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise from the workmen in the reception area.

Don't bother until refurb is complete

The ground floor was undergoing a full renovation which wasn't mentioned when I booked. No reception, no bar, nothing. The temporary solution is on the first floor, and is barren and unwelcoming. The room stank of weed too, so not well maintained or cleaned.

Location was just right for us, room was very clean with everything we needed. Had a few concerns upon my arrival regarding noise from an adjacent room, reported this to the reception, to which they dealt with straight away. Breakfast area was very presentable with a good selection of everything we needed. Breakfast staff were very helpful and made sure the breakfast area items were always in good supply.
