The only thing above average about this property was the breakfast buffet. Other than that, there is nothing about this property that would cause me to book again. There was a really sad shower - hardly any water. They use those small, half pillows that are lumpy. We had to move the night table and jiggle the connection to get the added electrical and USB ports to work. The color scheme for the room and the hotel in general is very drab.

Check-in was easy. Close restaurant proximity. Clean. Breakfast was basic, but good. Kids loved the mini waffles and biscuit with gravy.

Choose higher end hotels in area.

Doors have large gap and do not fully shut exposing you to all noise in hallway. Walls are very thin. Carpets in lobby and hallways dirty. Elevator makes very questionable sounds when moving. Exposed seams show spray caulk. Provided soap did not even make suds. Attendant not welcoming upon check in. Area is nice with plenty of food options. Near State park which was convenient.

I stayed here couple times, it has always been a very good experience. The bed was comfortable, I stayed in a king size room, this time I stayed in a room with a queen size bed, and the bed was not comfortable at all, the breakfast options were mediocre, the orange juice machines dispenser did not work there was no juice substitutions offered. I would stay here again because of my previous experiences, but request the king size bed.

I booked this hotel based on its advertised 8.8 'excellent' rating, and I'm left scratching my head. The location and check-in were indeed positive. However, the room felt like a step back in time. The amenities were old and tired, the carpet was worn and stained, and the in-room phone had missing buttons. While the shower was a redeeming feel good factor, the tiny bathroom couldn't salvage the overall dated feel. It's clear this rating is heavily inflated by the location, as the room itself fell far short of 'excellent'.
