Excellent stay! Highly friendly staff! The door men/valets were very sweet and helpful. Lauren the bartender was the absolute best! My sister and I visited with her for hours. She is a true gem! The chef even came out and gave us some little cheesecakes that he was working on to get our feedback… I’d definitely recommend this property based on the staff alone!

The rooms at the Westin were very overpriced this weekend so I decided to try the Kelly. My room was very nice, the staff were great, there were a lot of food options within walking distance and an uber to the Civics Center was just $4.

The staff is fantastic.

It was an excellent location for quick access to downtown and UAB. By far though, the staff were AMAZING!!! Everybody from the valet to the front desk, bartender, and cleaning staff was soooo friendly. I travel a LOT and I can’t think of the last time staff was that friendly. Maybe I just haven’t been to AL in a long time, but there were exceptional.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property that was once an insurance office. The marble in the hallwayswas stunning. The only thing missing from the room was a refrigerator and it was very expensive to park.

Beautiful hotel! Nice beds, hot showers, quiet (even though the train was nearby), and friendly staff. The made-to-order breakfast was convenient every morning and the food was great. I picked this hotel over the larger convention hotels and had a nice, safe walk to the convention center. I will definitely stay here again.
