To start the bathtoom was a cupboard. On opening the door the smell of mould was palpable but the terrible aftershave they attempted to mask the smell was even worse!! Making the air unbreathable i had to leave the room and go for a walk about an hour to air out the room it was so suffocating
Floor and walls in bathroom dirty too boot!!
Mattress was so worn out I had to sleep on the pillows, would have slept on the floor in bedroom but equally unclean.
Place needs a serious revamp cause even £50 it was overpriced. I've geniunely stayed in better hostels.
Bacis accommodation. Good do with some TLC.
Staff were welcoming and pleasant.
Bar and restaurant facilities were great.

This is a good old fashioned pub. Helpful staff and clean basic rooms. A long slog uphill from New Street station, but is walkable. Breakfasts only available at weekends. Would recommend as a stop off before flying from Birmingham. We would stay again

The Mosley Arms Birmingham
Great as always for the travelling business person especially if you are female. Staff are very friendly and helpful .
Got to say when we turned up , I thought what have I booked but how wrong was I probably one of the 2 night I have slept in a long time , we was on the ground floor near the bar , we couldn’t hear nothing only next door snoring on the 2nd night but the was fine
The bar staff , the lady who checked us in was amazing, and so so helpful,
I would recommend anyone staying here if I came back to Birmingham I would definitely stay here
As a lot of reviews for this pub/hotel say. The noise levels from the pubs music event are extremely loud to the point that my room door was vibrating. This didn’t bother me as sat in the pub and listen to the music. But if your expecting a peaceful stay when they have music on I would advices this would not be a place to stay
Great little hotel, clean, comfy, other customers were a big noisy on the phones. Shame on a bus routes. Can't have windows open for noise. TV reception not too good. Handy for town centre. Hopefully with the renovation of work going on in the area should improve them area..A little improvement would help,I 64 and have arthritis and was put on top floor. Should have enquired. Otherwise nicer convenient hotel.

Honestly the whole place was actually quite nice. One issue I had which dragged the rating way down are the walls. They are so incredibly thin. The couple staying on the room next to mine had a 2h argument at 3am and I, without any choice of my own, was privy to the whole details of their relationship. Staff are lovely, accomodation is great, but if I struggle to sleep , then unfortunately its a poor rating from me .

Comfortable hotel for the price bed was comfortable enough. I would stay here again at the price was value for money
Really nice little hotel, it was a 10 minute walk from the event that I was attending so perfect location for me. Staff were really nice. Obviously there's movement noise and doors banging but I've not found a hotel in my budget where this doesn't happen so my snooze and blocks all that. My mattress was very uncomfortable though unfortunately so probably needs to be replaced, but my brother's was fine (just my luck) very clean room and bathroom and the shower was powerful and stayed hot for the entire shower. I will definitely stay here again when I need to visit Birmingham in the digbeth area.
staff were very friendly(neil was great ) as were the locals in the pub.clean, tidy and good value for money.ideal for us for attending a gig at the o2 acadamy .The surrounding area is going through lots of redevelopment and its not the most aesthetically pleasing but cant fault the mosely arms.was a short stay but would have no hesitation in staying there again in the future
