The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. I can’t believe in a hotel chain like Village that they do not have USB ports on their plug sockets in the room. I have stayed in some 2* hotels and they have them.

Very dissatisfied with my stay last night from 12-1 am in the morning I was woken with someone running up and down the corridor then at 2 pm my door was chapped extremely hard I through on my trousers and looked out side I believe a member of staff was dealing with a girl that was in floods of tears. In checking out this morning | raised my concern to be told it was a domestic and the police were called it still doesn't justify the fact the someone was up and down that corridor for 2-3 house creating noise I am aware corridors are cctv and why this wasn't picked up earlier by staff I do not know I look forward to hearing from your self and should you wish to

Staff were awful - unhelpful and at time rude, no customer service at all. Check in staff were very dismissive, told us the lift wasn’t working but no apology. Ordered us to use the self service check in despite 2 members of staff just standing there at the computers chatting. Bar staff more interested in talking amongst themselves or looking at their phones. Food was overpriced, difficult to find a table to sit at as do many dirty places left. We won’t be back!

At check in was given a room key card for an already occupied room , was then given another room but felt unsafe as i was worried someone would access my room. Fire alarm went off in the morning Not a nice experience
