The hotel was lovely, clean and tidy the room was very comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning and the food was really good. Staff were lovely.

Cleaning lines on a Saturday every, so no draft beer available, so we had to buy bottles that literally cost us £11 a pint, it was not a drinking break by any means but don’t expect your customers to pay so much.

I check into the hotel around 11.30pm. I was assigned room 311 and I made my way to the room. I open the door of the room and I found a lady in bed watching the telly. We were both in shock!! I made my way back to reception and let the guy at the check in desk know. He simply said that the room was vacant on the hotel system. He assigned me a new room which was indeed vacant. This is a huge blunder especially with regards to safety and security. How can this happen?? Aside from that rooms are very nice, comfy beds, very clean except a huge web that had been missed. Breakfast below average, leisure centre changing rooms on the dirty side.

Brilliant one night trip. Super welcoming, mega comfy and brilliant facilities. We booked without much knowledge of the hotel and were really pleased with everything. Service was fantastic, rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was very good and the pool etc was super. Couldn’t have asked for more!

The room was spotless, modern and the bed was super comfy. The TV was large and the room itself was spacious. The hot drink selection provided was perfect and the reception team were always happy to get you more if needed. However, I feel as though larger mugs should be given as standard in the rooms alongside maybe slippers and robes. The reception lounge was very inviting and clean. The front office manager, breakfast manager, Shanelle and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive. The staff were 10/10. Dinner in the restaurant was also good but I would've liked there to be a wider variety of cocktails. The parking was £10 per night which I felt was a little unneeded as you are already paying a premium to stay in a 4 star hotel of which parking is usually free. The pool was a bonus and a good temperature and depth, however I feel it has been neglected a little, it is the only area in the hotel where I wouldn't say it was clean ( black mould on the sign by the Jacuzzi for example). Supplying slippers may be an idea as pool guests have to share the corridor floor barefoot with muddy trainers from the gym and outside to get the the changing rooms The pool was good, and we really enjoyed using it, but just felt it had been neglected a little. Overall, We would 100% come and stay again. The only reason I mentioned the negatives is that we enjoyed it so much, we just want the hotel to get even better for our next stay in the near future.
