The place was clean with all the amenities without bells and whistles. We had a very comfortable stay. We would return to this hotel next year when we visit Bishop.

The parking was great. Quiet room even when on a busy road. Staff great, break great! Close to a lot of things. They tell you of 4 restaurants you can get 10% discount showing your key.

Room wasn’t ready after 4:00. Hair in the shower upon arrival. Stairs up front inaccessible and we had 80 year old father with us so we had to walk a distance and stay upstairs which was inconvenient. Tenants were extremely noisy late and had chair on balcony in the center of walkway making it almost impossible to get by with elderly father and luggage. Smell of marijuana was overwhelming.

Judy the front desk receptionist was awesome! There was a mix up with our room request and she worked tirelessly to fix the issue. Would recommend for a short trip to Bishop.

Great Base for Long E Sierra Day Hikes

Positives: We reserved a King Suite for 4 nights, as a base for our long E Sierra day hikes. Spacious suite on second floor. Good price. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning was excellent. Shower very good. Although our room faced the main street, car and truck noise, while heard, was not an issue, as we generally slept 9:30PM-5:30AM. (There is one other King Suite near the other end, away from the main street). Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok—scrambled eggs, meat, potatoes, Cheerios, fruit loops, granola, limited fruit (oranges, apples, bananas sometimes); good coffee, bagels, muffins. We usually bring our own berries and melon to supplement. Recommend Yamatani, Holy Smokes, and Rambler Mountain Brewery. Negatives: Refrigerator could be bigger, but worked well and we managed to squeeze everything in. Staircase at our end was closed for repairs which made checking and out more of a hassle. Ice machine was not working. Overall would recommend this hotel.

Card key sensor didn’t work and had to wait until maintenance guy came back. The closest stairs had cracks and were blocked. We had to use the stairs further down and very inconvenient to bring the luggage upstairs. Egg for breakfast had processed cheese and tasted terrible.

This was my second time staying at this location, the room was clean, staff was friendly, they offer cucumber mint water and lemon water which is super refreshing. Their complimentary breakfast is very good with a nice variety. September 2025- the jacuzzi was not in working order which is my only negative comment. Will definitely be back!
