Room is better than expected, spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a 2 drinks for £10 offer which was nice. Had fried calamari, it was so-so.

It was a good stay - easy check-in, clean, comfy room. It had a slight smell. I arrived after midnight and was worried that my room would have been given away. I called maybe ten times earlier in the day, and no one ever answered. But in the end, check-in was no problem, quick, and easy. I took the shuttle bus from the airport. It costs 4 pounds, but they do now accept cards. I had read that the shuttle was cash only, but that is no longer the case.

Issue with digital check in

Check in was a little difficult since the required booking reference/qr code for digital check in wasn't included in the booking email. Fortunately the staff were helpful and able to check us in manually

Our stay at Premier Inn was enjoyable. We used the luggage storage facility which was good value annd convenient for us. We ate in the restaurant which was good.

This is an airport hotel (motel?) so no one expects anything especially nice. My room was spacious and clean, although there was a noticeably strong scent of cigarettes, despite it being a non smoking room. The staff were friendly and happy to provide info re: transport to the airport.

Hotel car park is in part of the Stansted airport service area and cost 19 GBP. For travelers by air, this would not be a problem, but it was an unexpected cost for us traveling by car. The automated check in was impossible without a code (not sent in my email) or UK post code. We had to call for help after a number of failed attempts
