I used to love staying here. That was years ago! Since I heard of a bedbug breakout here, I wouldn’t stay here anymore. But I did come back, mostly for your pool. It’s great for the grandkids. But the place is so worn! Everything looks old and beat up. Sad.

Checked in on Friday for a 2 night stay. Went to our event and returned to get ready for bed only to find that our hideaway bed dirty and full of crumbs. Staff was very courteous and helpful in trying to fix the situation, however, our family was very disappointed as we were unable to use one bed for the night.

We stayed one night here while traveling through the area. The room was clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable. The main pool was not working when we were there, but our children tried the hot tub and then tried out the water slide in the “kids pool”(3.3 ft deep). It was kinda intimidating the first time, seeing as they’d never done anything like it before, but even my 6 year old loved it and went down it quite a few times, even though the water was up to his chin! Was very enjoyable and a great price!

The room clearly had a pest problem, as two of my nieces were bit by some small wingless insects that’s drew blood and when killed left blood on the sheets(photo evidence is available). This was 2 AM, and I asked for a room change and a refund, both of which were approved. Upon check-out, I was greeted by the front desk associate, her housekeeping manager and her maintenance worker, who all proceeded to make a fool out of me and repeatedly tell me there was no bed bugs in the room. Maybe there wasn’t but I had two nieces as evidence, who both had visible bite marks which were oddly similar to what a text-book example of a bed bug bite mark would look like. She was very insistent that her hands were tied and that she was not able to do anything, only her manager. If her manager is anything like her, I will be saving my breath and calling the health department. Also that a refund through Expedia is not possible? Definitely, need a little more training because anyone in the hotel industry knows that this is only a scapegoat. Overall this was a horrible experience at a property that is severely outdated, unkempt, and overpriced. Save your $177 and take it to the Hampton’s. Would rather have the children complain about the lack of pool fun, than a bed bug situation.

Very happy with our recent stay. Front desk was great. Our grandsons ages 5 & 3 really enjoyed the splash pad area of the pool.
