This property is in need of a deep clean. Inside and out. It is outdated and needs repairs. The room was dirty and needed repairs.

Tired hotel in need of some love.

Front desk person wasn’t very friendly at check in. Don’t tell us anything about WiFi or breakfast. Wall paper peeling off the wall in room, mold in bathroom. Exterior doors weren’t locked. I actually laughed when I was walking up to the front doors because I am pretty sure the profile pic is from at least 10 years ago. Bed was super comfy and breakfast was great though!

Sidewalks seriously dangerous with broken concrete & raised cap of some kind. Grass uncut. Dog droppings next to exterior door. Holes in walls. Absolutely filthy non-working ice machine (so unbelievably nasty that I took pictures and forwarded to family & friends). Leaking fridge that also made loud noises. We checked in and promptly checked right back out. Absolute DUMP!

Would have been better if.....

Although i was quite happy the hotel nor the room didnt smell like weed, i was rather disappointed to see the 80s style decor and carpeting still in the room. The mattress, I'm pretty sure had a spring poking through. Only 1 light worked in the room and in order to turn on the the tv and change chanel, had to do so on the TV itself. Also, i would have something outside the exit doors so guests and employees are not tossing cigarette butts on the ground. I grew up close to where the motel is and i remember, this motel having more class. Bismarck is growing, if you want to draw more business class clientele, remodel and clean up the outside.

There were NO bath towels supplied in the room, the tv remote didn't work right, the pillows were awful and they only give you 2 per bed. Also, i was not informed that the hot tub was out of order, which is the one amenity i wanted to use. The morning desk girl was rude.

The pool was great and the breakfast the next morning was really good. The check in staff was friendly and made everything easy and pleasant. This was the 3rd hotel in this price range we’d stayed at in this trip and it felt like an upgrade from the others.
