First room, we had to go to front desk 4 times to get a room. First three times was attempting to get into a room that the key card would not work. After it worked we walked in and the heat was on at 90 degrees. We had to ask for another room. We were walked to another room, the receptionist told us that the hotel isn’t nice… After we got to another room that the door was stuck and the receptionist had to shoulder to get the door to open. Lastly before leaving the water backed up in our sink and shower. Looked gross. Had food and hair in the drain that we never even used. Not a great look and never going back.

Great room not great pool
Room was great but the pool was cold. We didnt make it 20 min before my kiddos were to cold. Which was ok with me because there were abt 100 people in there many of them drinking so it was chaotic. But if your looking for a nice room in a nice location would recommend

There was no breakfast due to no hired chef on site, hotel room smelled os musk smokiness. The waterpark was over packed and limited space to swim and no space in hot tub, beds were comfy, room was somewhat clean. Good location, chick fila was across the street. Will not be coming back for the price, a extra 20$ would get you a fantastic hotel.

It was a good stay overall. My original room was not up to par (TV had no sound and room A/C was not working) and the front desk was quick to remedy that and get me into another room. The tile around the pool is EXTREMELY slippery. Even with shoes on, I found myself sliding around. My 5 year old in his child excitement took a step too fast and slipped backwards and slammed his head on the tile. He is fine now, but that knocked him silly. Some kind of grip or texture to the floor surrounding the pool would keep that from happening. It was also very hot and humid in the entire pool area. No ventilation was my guess. I would stay again, but only if there was a better option for the pool area.

I honestly don't know how this hotel has such a high rating. Upon walking into the hotel, we could tell it used to allow smoking. Once we got to our room, it seemed clean but then we slowly found stains and mildew throughout the room (with one large stain on the curtain looking like blood). We originally booked it for the pool area for our kiddo, but we stepped foot inside, we realized it has not been kept up and was about 20 years overdue for maintenance. The tile floor around the pool was very slippery and dangerous, especially being that I am 8 months pregnant. Overall, we will NOT be going back to that hotel and will warn friends against it as well.

The inside of the property was not what I expected. The outside looks slightly old and not what you would expect but we enjoyed our stay and it was comfortable and clean.

For some odd reason they placed us in a room right next to where an event was being held, people loud in the hall outside our door all night long as well as loud music for hours late at night. The pool area was extremely gross, old, and floors were extremely slick (no my children were not running… I’m an adult an almost fell down). Towels had stains, bathroom floor was dirty, tub and shower old and chipped and rusted. Couldn’t even shower hardly because the water aimed in one direction that couldn’t be adjusted, right against the back wall of the shower. Both restaurants are closed too.

This hotel is falling apart! The rooms are old and crumbling, the wallpaper is falling off the walls, patched holes in the tub, holes in the doors and walls, latches on the doors ripped off, tv not working. The pool /water slide area is also in very bad condition with it not being cleaned at all. The railing along the rooms on main floor have broken off and the metal sticking out of the ground have been covered up with a 5gallon pail. If we had know it had been in such poor condition we would have stayed else where !

Deadbolt didn’t work on door, deck clerk wouldn’t believe me, told me the deadbolt locked automatically when the door closed. Not true. I know the door does, but not deadbolt. Housekeeping knocked on door at 9:30 am and almost immediately tried to open the door. Thank God I had the safety latch set. And we had NOT checked out.
