Not as glamourous as I was expecting
The hotel is currently undergoing some major renovation, so there is a lot of construction going on. Not sure if this was the cause of so little staff working, but there was rarely anyone at the front desk, and the spa was closed. There was also no internet connection at all, and the tv reception in the room was terrible. It must have been a very nice place in its heyday, but it is pretty run down at this point. The views are still gorgeous however.

This property is rundown and the interior of the rooms seems very old fashioned. The room itself was clean enough. There's also some renovations going on on the property.

I enjoyed my stay , even though I asked for a room lower by the water and didn’t get that my stay overall was great , the beds were comfortable the staff was friendly we spent most of our days out on the road but it was lovely. I hope they can update the bathrooms .

The hotel experience was good. However there is room for improvement when it comes to WiFi connectivity. We had to buy a data plan and use it throughout the stay. The TV does not pick up any WiFi so no Netflix or any streaming services. In a world where social media is such a major part of life, it’s very disappointing to not have it easily available. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast options were good each morning. The hotel has so much more potential. They need to open a new restaurant/ bar where the breakfast area is. This can transform at night and bring people to the hotel. Updated decor, modern fixtures and lighting, more TVs. The back of the hotel by the gym area should be transformed into outdoor dining, with a trellis, a chef cooking and grilling seafood live. The coi ponds are not being maintained and should be removed. It’s more of an eyesore than an attraction. This is my fourth time at the hotel and I feel like I expect more now.

Over the hotel is okay. But its a bit run down and needs alot of renovation. I had no problem with old furniture etc, however the bath tub had stains and sink pipes had scrub. Im really big on bathroom and it turned me off. Breakfast was AMAZING, STaff friendly. Hotel has soooo much potential if it was given a lil TLC.

Very quiet and peaceful however, the swim up bar was one of the things I was looking forward too to my surprise it was not operational for any of the days we stayed neither was the spa. Breakfast was great though and the staff members were very pleasant.

Good experience in Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort
Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were outstanding: we received incredible service, and they were always friendly and attentive to resolve any problems or questions that came up during our visit. The restaurant staff also treated us wonderfully; the food was good, and breakfast was especially delicious. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pool area is beautiful, with a spectacular view that’s truly worth it. The only suggestion I’d make is for the hotel to consider updating the bathrooms in the common areas, like in the lobby, restaurant, and pool area, and ensuring they are kept cleaner. Additionally, it would be amazing if the pool bar could be open, at least on the weekends. Overall, our experience was very positive. I think the cost of the hotel is fair for what it offers, and I would definitely recommend it.

The view of the ocean from the property is amazing. The location is ideal, not too far from stores, restaurants, etc. The buffet breakfast is tasty, and the staff serving is courteous and friendly. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in since traveling. The scenery from my room was so good that I got many good videos for my website (travelwith2ofus). There are a couple of spots that need a little touching up, but nothing to prevent me from staying there again.
