Stayed here for 1 night in November. First impressions very good. Check in quick. We had a family room overlooking the sea, with the added bonus of a small portion of the Blackpool illuminations were viewable from our room.
There is some free parking on the street just outside the front of the hotel, not much but we were lucky to get a spot, otherwise it’s £17:50 per day in the hotel car park.
Our room had two double beds, a nice bathroom with a large shower. One comment there was only a small wardrobe area and limited room for suitcases. We were travelling light so this did not affect us. But if you are travelling for longer it may be a problem.
There is a bar and restaurant downstairs. I would only give the food 4 out of 5, good not great. We ate there in the evening and had breakfast the following day. The score is the same for both meals. It was busy both days and there were some problems with the breakfast, the apple juice just tasted of water and one of the two coffee machine was not working which lead to queues. Breakfast selection was very good.
All of the staff were incredibly helpful.
In terms of locations there are some run down buildings on the same street but this would not affect my rating. A tram stop is a very short walk from reception which give you access to the whole sea front.
Overall a very pleasant stay. If i was visiting Blackpool again I would stay here.
