re-booked the room I'd used the night before

I did not think that I would enjoy my grandson's graduation as much as I did, so I had only booked one night. When my ex-son-in-law and his girlfriend were so welcoming, I decided to book for a second night. I was given the same room as the previous night, so locating the room was no problem.

Nice room

I booked the hotel so that I could attend my grandson's high school graduation. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning service was anxious to get into my room to clean at 10:15, so I felt rushed in getting out of the room.

Econo Lodge Christiansburg-Blacksburg I-81 was just what I was looking for, a comfortable, quiet and affordable place to stay while I was helping my graduate move out from his apartment. The bed was pleasantly comfortable, and even with it being a motel, it was quiet, safe and cozy (I’m not usually a motel person). My only complaint is with the parental restrictions on the T.V. They should lift those when an adult is staying in the room, I wasn’t able to watch anything listed “for mature audiences only”. Great place! Thanks for your hospitality!

I expect very little from an Econo Lodge. Which is why I’d rank it as ok/fine. Nothing truly bad. However, the exorbitant amount of money we had to pay (over $400/night) felt like a big rip off. We paid it because it was all we could find in the area due to event at the university. I wouldn’t normally pay even $100 for a room like it.
