The staff were really polite. Breakfast was free and good. The hotel is well maintained and clean. Nice set up. Personally i think its one of the best hotels around (between nottoway lunenburg and prince edward)

Great place for the money. Rooms are a bit small but met all my needs. No restaurant on premises but very close to many choices. Very nice free breakfast. Rooms had microwave, refrigerator, iron, and large walk in shower.

Very nice place to stay at this historical property. The facility seems to still be in the developmental stages as there are staff shortages and the grounds are not well-kept. I look forward to a finished product! Though pricey, the rooms are outstanding and the room amenities are very good.

The inn was amazing! We ended up here last minute after another hotel didn’t work out. The building is stunning and so well restored. The staff were all so very friendly and helpful. We didn’t get enjoy the amenities outside of breakfast as we were into for a race on the high bridge trail. We will definitely be back for a weekend stay where we can enjoy the property and explore the area.

This is a wonderful find. What a great restoration of a former boading school from the early 1900 's. The staff worked very hard when there was a delay in registering people . This was caused by a full turnover of rooms and cleaning the rooms. The people who work there are very nice. I think this place is a great find!
