Staff were very freindly and at hand when needed. It was a nice quite location to begin our trip away from the chaos one has come to expect in Bali. The view from the room and dining room into the lush forest was very peacefully. Breakfast was good, however evening meals were very average. So much so, we decide to take the taxis in to ubud (about 30 minutes away) for dinner for the last 3 nights of our stay. Food and drinks are over priced for the quality, compared to the local area.it Bed was ok, however pillows 2 out of 10. Spa was excellent highly recommend. Rooms needed some TLC, doors hard to open to bathroom, tap in bathroom didn't work as it should. Towels were clean (however stained) they need to replace them. Overall l think its rated as 4 star (maybe 3.5 stars) They just need to improve food, replace linen, review each room from top to bottom) The hotel price/package was good, however if we stayed in this area again we would try somewhere else.

Wow what can I say the Villas were perfection. Big, Quite and clean. Beautiful Garden settings. The Quite part was the best right in the middle of everything and Quite. 10/10 for everything at this villa.

Simply a wonderful place to stay. Loved our room. Loved the staff. Food was great. Can’t wait to go back

Very spacious and modern villa in a good proximity with plenty of options closeby. The villa was quiet and relaxed even though it is only a short drive or walk to the busier bars and clubs closer to the beach. The staff were friendly and great to deal with and we enjoyed our stay

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Had Our 12-day stay at Maharaja Villas Seminyak was an extremely disappointing experience. I have traveled extensively and stayed at properties around the world, but I have never experienced this level of unnecessary questioning, suspicion, and poor treatment at a hotel. In particular, our interactions with a staff member named Jihan were extremely frustrating. She repeatedly questioned us about towels and other items in the property, often without appearing to properly check the room first. The way she approached these issues made us feel as though we were being treated like we were suspected of taking hotel property. After staying for 12 days and paying to be guests at the property, this was extremely insulting and uncomfortable. Jihan also recommended that we use Bluebird taxis. I found the recommendation unusual because she seemed particularly insistent about it. I have no evidence that she received any financial benefit from recommending the taxi service, so I cannot say that she did, but the situation made me uncomfortable and raised questions for me about whether there was any undisclosed relationship or incentive. Her manner was also extremely irritating and, in my experience, lacked the basic professionalism and courtesy I would expect from hotel staff. More broadly, we felt that we were treated differently because we are Indian-American. After 12 days, my overall impression is that this is a well-below-average property.
