Not a great deal of choice in Blenheim, stayed here pre covid was good, the staff at front desk are super friendly - great. The place is very old, i got the best room on the 2nd level but its just not that good. Old and tired, old decor. needs $$ spent on it. Weird sloping windows up high so felt a bit like a jail.

At the time of our stay the hotels ac system had failed, while an option of a fan was offered it I would have expected the hotel to inform you before checking in. Ultimately we ended up checking out early as the heat was unbearable. The room itself definitely needed further cleaning there was quite a few hairs throughout our room and the ac system unit was very dusty. Still waiting for a reply from the GM about a partial refund for the second night we couldn’t stay due to the maintenance issue. My advice would be to stay elsewhere there are property’s which are better value for $.
