An attached restaurant with good home cooked food. It was a simple roadside motel. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable for an overnight stay.

Quick and friendly check in. Room was clean. No noise at night and I got a great night's sleep. Bed mattress was firm and comfortable. TV and internet quality was great. I'll be coming back here on my next trip to the area.

Overall, room was a very generous size, and we really appreciated that there was no carpeting. Liked the ceiling light, which is a great feature as most hotel/motel rooms do not have ceiling lights. Room was very clean, but some areas are showing its age. The table tops are worn & flooring missing a section (potential tripping hazard). We were only staying one day, but should we have stayed longer extra hangers would have been appreciated. There was only one supplied hanger. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open on the day we arrived (Sunday) nor was it open the following morning. We had a function at 11:00 am which was the time the restaurant opened on the Monday. We had picked this motel because of the attached restaurant, but never got to use the restaurant. Definitely appreciated that room came with small fridge, microwave & coffee machine. Good to know for future stay. Also appreciated the luggage rack, that is always a nice touch. Also, a folding chair was provided which was definitely handy in bathroom to put extra supplies on when getting ready. All in all, we would stay here again.

The heat in the room was turned off so the room temp was the same as the outside temperature- which was below zero. We would have had to wear our coats for an hour or two until the room warmed up. Consequently we left. I asked the owners to give me a receipt to confirm that we did not use the room and had checked out. They refused to do this. We own recreational rentals in both Canada and Belize. We always turn on the heat or air conditioning before guests arrive.
