I had tried all week to contact the hotel to advise of a late check-in in accordance with our travel plans to no avail. Upon arrival I was advised that our room had been canceled eventhough I had received an email advising of check-in (assuming automated) and asking for a review of the check-in experience. The manager advised that he would have to book a new room and I'd have to pay their full rate and request a refund from Hotels.com/Expedia. When I told him that was unacceptable and became argumentative with him he ordered me to leave the hotel and threatened to call the police. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel and/or staff anywhere in the world in my years of travel. I'll never stay with anther Comfort Inn. I went next door to the Holiday in and explained my experience to them and was accomodaed immediately with a discount rate and was comfortably in bed within 15 minutes.

TV was dark/barely visible, heat didn't work (the fix was to bang on the unit each time it quit working), website says checkout is at noon but we got a knock on the door at 11:05 and told we had 20 minutes to get out. I just checked and the website still shows noon checkout. Walls were very thin and we could hear conversation in the rooms on either side of us and in the hallway.

Lobby: The lobby is dirty, the wall paper in the lobby is pealing off the walls. Room: Carpet in room was dirty, needs to be shampooed. The curtains are extremely dirty, especially the blackout curtains. Outside of hotel (hotel property). Lots of trash, tray cans outside overflowing, and not cleaned up regularly. The staff was extremely friendly. Great services.

Quiet location, good staff, rooms need remodeling
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was in rough shape. Multiple stains and ripped up sections on the carpet, wallpaper peeling up on the seams. Looked like an area of water damage on the ceiling. The bed was comfortable though and it was quiet. Due to the condition of the room, I wouldn’t stay here again. The rooms really need a complete renovation.

When we arrived we advised the staff that there was no hot water in our room, we were told that has been an issue and to run the water for a long time for it to warm up - the best we could get was luke warm water. We did receive a partial credit for the inconvenience.
