We have stayed at the property several times through the past 10 years. This time wasn't as good as past times. We were notified by phone earlier in the day on the day we were to arrive that the elevators weren't working and given the choice to stay or not with free cancellation. We kept the reservation only because we had already paid through Expedia and didn't want the hassle of trying to figure that part out when we were traveling and didn't have time to find another hotel. First floor rooms would have been our first choice, but we were at least able to get 2 second floor rooms. The biggest inconvenience was having to go to the stairs at the end of the first floor hallway and carry the luggage up. Then go half way down the second floor hall to get to our rooms. Check-in was ok, but I've had better experiences in the past and the employee was coughing quite a bit when handling the cards. Later in the evening when we returned my key wasn't working so I had to wave at the employee sitting in the lounge area to open the door.The rooms were fine and clean. Aside from being out of syrup the breakfast was good.

We always stay at a hampton, but i was a little disappointed this time. The elevator was not working, the hot tub was in the process of being repaired so it was unusable as well. The ice machine on our floor was also not operational so you had to use the stairs to go to the next floor to get ice.

The elevator wasn’t working and we were on the 4th floor- they did call ahead and let us know. The hot tub wasn’t working, no towels in the pool area, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. The pillows were terrible. The heat in our room would not turn off.

The elevator wasn't working for the entire 3 days and was put on the 4th floor. The pool and hot tub were also out of order. No accommodation or discount was even offered. The room was not very clean, one pillow case had a blood stain on it, and the remote for the tv didn't work properly.

Good choice for the price (despite some issues)
I stayed here previously, and was satisfied other than the hot tub being out. This time I was surprised that the pool was out as well as the elevators! Wish I had known that as I was on second floor, and have bad knees. Will have to do deeper research next time.

My husband was very aware of a mechanical noise from the hot water heater in the room next to us (first floor accessible room) that thumped every few minutes all night long. We will ask not to be placed in that room from now on.

We needed a quiet place for a friend who was recovering from a hospital stay. We enjoyed almost a week of hospitality. Hot breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Helpful staff including Meredith (GM) and Jaz, The place was mostly quiet, we slept well. I would recommend this hotel for travelers.

A good place to stay when we travele from MN to TN. Breakfast among the best of any hotel we’ve stayed at. Rooms are starting to show their age. We had wallpaper peeling in the bathroom and the carpet was worn. Pillows were not the usual Hampton Inn quality.
