Comfortable hotel, convenient to Bloomington/Normal. Nice to have a kitchette + pullout sofa. Breakfast was ok... service was a little lacking. Had to ask for coffee to be refilled even though it wasn't busy. Decaf was cold. There was a kids party next door to our room the last night, which was very loud and weird

It has a convenient location and our room size was great, but there were some issues that will keep us from going back. First, our pull out couch had hair all over the sheet. When I called the front desk, they said there shouldn’t be a sheet on the pull out at all (so I guess it hadn’t been stripped from the previous guests?) but that we could use the fresh linens in the cabinet…so we changed the linens, but no one came up to the room to get the soiled linens. I wonder what else wasn’t cleaned properly? Next, my son was playing on the carpet and cried out because his hand got cut. I looked closer and there were tiny shards of glass all over the area. Apparently they don’t vacuum either. Lastly, when we went down to the free breakfast at 8:30 almost everything was gone. There were no plates and no cups available to even get a drink. The building itself is nice and my son had fun in the pool, but we wouldn’t recommend this location.

Double incidental charges??
TWO incidental $50 charges showed up on my credit card. TWO! I called the hotel and the clerk blamed the bank. Please reverse this immediately.

Room smelled
The room had a bad smell like sewer type smell. Also had a small in the sink and dishwasher area. Seems like that has not run for awhile and it’s getting stinky. They try to hide the smell with some strong air fresheners

We paid for a room with a King bed to accommodate an injury a week in advance. Once we got to the room, there was a double queen bed. This wasn't what we requested and the front desk was unable to find another king bed for our stay. They were not able to offer any kind of refund or resolution for us. The customer service was very poor in that regard. To summarize; we didn't get what we paid for because of poor customer service.
