This lodge was very affordable, close to downtown shopping with many great restaurants within a short drive. The room was clean and loved the cabin feel that our room had. Luxury king. They had a nice continental breakfast. We enjoyed our stay. Although we did not make use of it, they had a fire pit available near our end of the lodge. I would stay with them again.

Enjoyed our stay at hotel, it was clean and well kept. Only issue was during our departure we notice that we left behind small luggage that contain make-up and medication in the room on night stand. We contacted the hotel to see if housekeeping turn it into front desk. Front desk said that it wasn't turn in. We know it was left in room. SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT HAPPEN TO IT!!!! THIS IS NOT ACCECTABLE!!! GUEST BEWARE IF YOU LEFT SOMETHING BEHIND DON'T EXPECT TO GET IT BACK!!! First lady we contacted was RUDE about situation, the second lady was more helpful and understanding. BUT STILL NO LUGGAGE !!!!

It was just “ok” bed not very comfy. Old hotel, renovated but not up to date. Weird. Room numbers out of order. Like 202, 217, 222, then back to 204, 203 217, etc.

Shower heads had mold growing, lampshade was very dirty, toilets were brown, mattress protector was bloody, beds were hard and springs could be felt. Save yourselves the trouble and stay elsewhere.

Check-in went well and the front desk person was friendly. The room had an unpleasant odor. The cover sheet had a number of visible stains. The bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The shower curtain and the tub were not clean.

The lady that checked me in was very nice and polite. The only promlem i had was the bathroom sink the water wasnt draining down right it was very slow draining. Then out of no were the toliet startedsame thing when you flush it it wouldn't flush it come up to over flo on toilet then it would just drain down slowing.

Great place to stay on a budget. Very clean and friendly service. Only issue we had was the air conditioner was SUPER loud and the tv remote was falling apart and could not figure out how to watch Live TV. Fire pit was a nice addition and free breakfast of course is nice.

It was clean however the bathrooms need some remodeling. I don’t know if it was dirt, mold or just discoloration but the bathrooms need upgrades.

Our stay was great. Only a short drive to downtown shops, restaurants, and the Blueridge Railroad. Our room was quiet, clean…no complaints. Front desk employee was GREAT. She was Very informative and went above and beyond to help us with what we needed. The continental breakfast was pretty slim but other than that..it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

Property design is perfect for mountain setting. The rooms are like you are staying in a log cabin all wood tongue and grove boards on the wall. Pictures on website. The room was clean, had good lighting, bathroom was nice with good lighting also. Room was quiet from inside and outside noise. The continental breakfast was basic muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt and juice. The coffee was very good. Staff extremely nice and helpful. We will be back next time in Blue Ridge!

Give it a try
We did an overnight in Blue Ridge. Most close by hotels were at least double the price of the Reid Ridge Lodge, so we decided to give it a try and we were glad we did. Granted, decor and furniture is a little tired but the room was clean and the mattress was comfortable which are the most important things to me. If I were to be doing another overnight in Blue Ridge I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

It hurts a little to rate this hotel as a 3 for comfort. Everything was great. The staff was very helpful. However, there seems to be little or no sound insulation between rooms. The couple next door left their TV on all night. When they were awake, we could hear them talking and almost make out what they were saying. We didn't complain because I didn't think they were talking loud or playing their TV too loud. They could probably hear us too. Also, I didn't want to relocate in the middle of the night. Anyway, it was not a restful night. I mentioned it at checkout and the clerk was apologetic but that was it.
