The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was dated, but OK. The shower was not good, in that it had low water pressure... it was not possible to wash long hair after going to the beach. Also, the shower drain was partially clogged, so it drained very slowly.

Overall good for the money.

Check in was difficult. Not able to check in early, hotel was overbooked making checking in late not an option. The young women at the front desk graciously stayed long enough to check me in (a late coworker was making her late for an exam). They delay in check in did make us late for an event my boyfriend was performing at. Everything else was fine. The carpets in the common areas could use some cleaning/ updating.

The pool was out of order the entire 5 days of my stay. I was never informed. I found out when I actually walked to the pool in the morning and the gate was locked with a sign that read out of order dangerous, stay out. There was water molds in the ceiling of the room and I caught a nasty respiratory infection.

At the lobby OMG smells humidity, awful, I spend 4 nights never ever I see a housekeeper, I never get new towels, no one clean the room. The hallway was dusty, there leaves 🍂 everywhere at the floors, the bathroom was moldy, the rooms even smell good. We all get sick after stay there. And the other thin was they closed the door with a note they was fully bucked, and never let us know how we can enter, I call no one answer their phone, my nephew see a side door for the pool are we can enter. I went to the front desk to ask for towels, no one was there and never answered. Is a shame the place is not bad, looks a great place. Looks like they was under construction, But they can get that place more clean. First and last.

Breakfast was good. Attendant was friendly, smiled and was service oriented. Coffee was hot and strong. Our room was fairly clean. Alex at front desk was quite helpful. The vibe was tropical and we liked that. There was way more in the negative. We learned when we checked in the pool was not in operation. Additionally, the hot tub was not in operation. Those are two amenities that We definitely wanted. The carpet in common areas and halls was filthy. And I was in need of vacuuming.The halls had no air-conditioning. The gym was hot, had no fan, no air conditioning controls. And I got locked in Because the door would not open to exit. There were no towels, paper towels, or cleaning solution to clean the machines. The entrance door we were told to go in after parking was out of order. We stayed in room number 415. There was no elevator. We had to take the stairs.

Do not stay there! Here is a list of problems we had in our 4 night stay: 1) Check In says 3pm. We got there at 11am and requested early checkin. They couldn’t check us in til 430pm and there were 3 people in front of us to checkin and it literally took each party 15 minutes to checkin so we stood there for 45 minutes. I said u need to hire more checkin staff. 2) TV not working during beginning of Super Bowl. We called the front desk and they said it was a cable issue and they would get back to us in 10 min. After 20 min of no response we went to front desk and demanded someone fix our tv. Mgr said it was a remote control issue so he gave us new remote. We went back to room and it still didnt work. Mgr came up to room and realized tv was not working so he found another tv in the building and replaced ours but it was much smaller. We missed all of fist half of Super Bowl and halftime show. 3)the security door lock gate didn’t work with the key so we had to walk a far way sound to get to our room 4)the breakfast hrs are only 630-830 with is not slot of time frame and the selection was very limited 5)they told us if I request cleaning before 9am then you can get your room cleaned otherwise they just do it every 3 days. We requested cleaning before 9am on our second day but no one came. When event yo front desk to ask why the mgr said they only have 3 cleaning ladies do didn’t have time to get to our room. I said u need to hire more cleaning staff. 6) Pool not functioning.

Pay a little more and stay elsewhere!

An hour and a half from entering the lobby to getting my room. First, a 25 minute wait for the only employee working the desk at 3:51 pm to check-in two people ahead of me. Then, I paid for a room with a king-sized bed, but was put into one with two doubles. So back to the desk, carryimg my bags, and the clerk put me in a room much further away, AND OTHER PEOPLE WERE ALREADY STAYING IN MY NEW ROOM! So back to the desk again, but this time I am greeted by a sign that says the clerk will return "shortly." 25 more minutes later, and he did return, and he put me into an unoccupied room with a king bed. The coffee machine didn't work so I called down to see if I could come down for a replacement. To my surprise, the clerk said he would run one right up to me. 40-minutes later, I went to go back to the front desk, but ran into the clerk on my way. He was walking toward my room without a coffeemaker. He explained he was heading to fix someone else's TV, and he wasn't sure if I was coming to get the coffeemaker for myself. I told him that was obvious bull. He clearly said he would bring it to me, and 40 minutes later he is walking toward my room without it. ADDITIONALLY: THEY DO NOT CLEAN CLOTHE SHOWER CURTAINS BETWEEN GUESTS... MOLDY SCUM ON BOTTOM OF MINE. There is green scum growing around the holes on the shower nozzle. The Pool is "Closed" & Dangerous. The guest laundry is out of order. very bad!

The property (as of 2/5/24) was undergoing a major upgrade. Rooms being renovated. Pool pavers being replaced so pool off limits. Lots of other things that don’t work. But the room was clean, and the bed comfortable, so all in all, fine for what I needed - a place to sleep.
