Awesome Hotel in Bodega Bay

This is an excellent hotel! When we arrived, we were greeted by Lisa and she gave us a great restaurant recommendation that was dog friendly. The room was really spacious and so was the bathroom!! The TV was huge and right above an electric fireplace that put out a ton of heat! The room had a small patio off the sliding glass door and the view was of the bay! Not only would I stay there again, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Bodega Bay!!

We enjoyed our stay here but we got locked out of our room because the key pad needed battery replacement which happens but still inconvenient. The shower would also go cold pretty quickly. The inn is beautiful and close to everything and the staff were nice and helpful.

Restaurants are located within walking distance. The room was perfect for my quick getaway. It is such a beautiful place with wonderful staff, i recommend this property.

Very clean, everything worked, nice shower and beds, quiet. Only issues were poor lighting for doing hair and makeup especially for 3 women trying to get ready, no available staff for needs after 8 pm -needed toilet paper!

I thought the property was really great. We loved the location, super closer to our favorite spot, Fishetarian. And close to where the rest of our family was staying. The room was big and had a nice balcony looking over the bay. My one issue was the floors were SUPER dirty. my toddlers walk around barefoot a lot and i noticed their feet were BLACK after 5 mins walking so i had to put socks on them. Other than that, the property was awesome.

The lady who checked us in was wonderful and very helpful! They gave us a fantastic room with an excellent view of the bay! The prices can get very expensive in Bodega Bay, making it unaffordable to stay for many people. This property however, has kept their prices very reasonable, so more people are able to enjoy this beautiful area. We sincerely appreciate this! We will definitely be staying here again and have already recommended it to others!

Check in was super easy and I liked having a code for our door. We had a little patio with a table and two chairs and a lovely view of the bay. The room was spacious and the electric fireplace was a nice touch. Walls are VERY thin. We heard way more than should from the couple next door and the family upstairs.

Nice pet friendly resort with fabulous views

We really enjoyed our time together at The Dega Inn ! A four star rating due to they are under a slow renovation of the property. There are No signs that show it’s the Dega Inn ? Not even a temporary sign? But we finally found it . We were early but greeted very openly and friendly..enjoyed talking with host . We took a small multapoo and because of the grounds being renovated his walks were messy and we had to almost bath him every walk . And as everyone has said the showers flood the bathroom ..need to fix that before it causes bigger issues . Mud catching mud mats would be nice at the doors too..inside and out . No place to set shoes after a walk . I know it seems like I am complaining a lot …but this place is still absolutely a place to stay…once the landscaping is finished, and the showers corrected…it will be Hgh Dollar ! Thank you Dega Inn !

Smells and Stains

No one was there to check us in until 4:30. When we got to the room, the chemical smell was overpowering that we had to keep the door open for hours even though the smell never dissipated. Other rooms were doing the exact same thing. Pulled back the sheets...stains. Took a shower...there was writing on the glass so that was never cleaned. There wasn't really anyone available to help and we woke up to ants.
