It was a great place to stay close to downtown Boise! Bar and great little restaurant right on the property! Loved the outside area and the staff were very friendly! Also loved the heated floor in our bathroom! We had a great girls get away!

Been Twice Looking Forward to a Third Stay!
This was our second stay this year while traveling to Boise. It is just such a nice place, great staff, all very helpful and extremely courteous and kind. The King Bed was great and the room very clean and neat! Love the little welcome package that they give you too! Already looking forward to our next stay.

Return to motels of the past...
This was a return to the old style motels, updated and remodeled very nicely, with access to you vehicle 20 feet away from your door (we loved this). The front reception staff were very nice, the lobby was interesting, and the free breakfast was delicious! Location was within walking distance (about 1/2 mile) of the strip of restaurants & bars. We would definitely recommend this motel!

Great staff and perfect place for us to stay for parents weekend! thank you! There was construction going on around the property, so parking may be tough, but they warned us about that and nothing they could do. We used Uber and walked...so not an issue for us.

Best Place to Stay in Boise!
Our stay is always spot on at the Modern. We will always stay here as long as they will have us! Our only, and very very small, issue was the shower wand did not work but the main shower head did. Otherwise? Perfection.

The Modern Hotel was a fantastic find! Great value for the price, with some awesome perks. The free breakfast was a highlight, with custom options like parfaits or frittatas made fresh on the spot, along with house coffee. They also offer free bikes for guests, which made exploring the area a breeze. The rooms were nice and comfortable, making it a perfect stay. Highly recommend!

I was here for business and the employer booked my stay. Pros: close to down town, clean, breakfast included. Cons: the price was high for a very basic accommodation, the vibe was very exmotel 6, very limited lighting options in the room, carpet was very much past its prime. The staff were polite and I can see that it’s a small business so I’m happy to support small business, I just didn’t feel like the price of the accommodation matched.
