Got chastised by I assume the manager for "not following the rules" when I drove my 10' truck under their 15' portico because there was a sign saying "8' max height". No garage, no building overhangs, not even any trees. Literally the only thing on the property at 8' was the sign (did not hit the sign). Found it completely asinine and insulting. Not staying at Sleep Inn again.

The manager will literally try entering your room while you are asleep and I’m not talking quietly opening the door he violently trying to break in thankfully I had the chain lock on or who knows what he would have done, I know he almost got shot as I know that part of Nampa is full of crack heads and when you catch him he runs away and when you call the front desk all he can say is sorry I was just checking on you, why do I need to be checked on? What the hell is it to you

The property is in a poor maintenance state and the staff has obviously had to deal with the complaints too much, without the owners fixing things. We had to go buy duct tape and seal up the windows in one room because the wind was just blowing through. Thermostats didn’t work right in any of the four rooms we had. The toilet seats didn’t properly fit the toilet in two of the rooms.

My stay was convenient and pleasant except for 1 front desk staff by the name of Megan. Although she was nice she dropped the ball when I asked if she could have my room cleaned and fresh towels since I would be staying longer. And when asked for just 1 hr check out time so that I could go back at lunch to retrieve my belongs she was adamant she could not make this accommodation even though the hotel was not even to half capacity.
