The beds were exceptionally comfortable and clean. The rooms were a little dated but the main areas of the hotel we model and smart. One of the nicest breakfasts I have had and the food for the evening was of a high standard. All staff were really helpful and friendly.

Old but functional
Tired and old but functional rooms. Did have a mouldy smell and the heating isn’t customer led so we had no heat in the room. Bed was comfortable plenty of towels and bedding. Curtains were dirty and need replacing. Bathroom had a shower curtain which did look used.
Pool and spa facilities were ok but again very dated and needs a good scrub. Bar area lovely as were the staff. Breakfast other than needing to keep asking for the food and plates to be replenished was excellent.
Would not stay again. The hotel is very tired, my room had paper thin walls, I could hear everything from the room next door and didn’t get any sleep because of it. The shower was awful and unreliable. The only good thing about the hotel was the staff who were friendly and helpful.
This isn’t a completely negative review, I think we were in the older side of the rooms as it was very dated very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. On the plus side which is why I rated it so high, is that every staff member we met were lovely and the food was very good. I would stay again for the staff alone
