This was a great spot for a writing retreat! I enjoyed the breakfast, swimming pool and short walk to the city centre. There are some nice restaurant near-by too.

A taste of Bonn
Had a lovely stay at The Dorint. Service was excellent, as were the facilities, particularly the breakfast. We sat on the terrace overlooking the river and were very impressed with the selection of foods available. My only complaint would be the pillows on the bed that looked super comfy and dot, but completely collapsed to nothing when you laid your head on them. Two pillows felt like no pillows.

The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay. The central Bonn shopping district is nearby, and there's a great Syrian restaurant, Aleppo Rose, a short walk from the hotel that I highly recommend!

Not bad.
First of all, the staff is absolutely amazing. Courteous, friendly, professional. My room was a bit of a mixed experience. It was spacious and well appointed, but the carpet was wrinkled in a way that it looked like it hadn’t been laid properly. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated between freezing and scalding. The bed was a bit soft, but that’s more of a personal preference issue.
