This was a nice, clean place to stay. Loved how convenient it was to everything. We only stayed a night. Unfortunately it was very loud starting at 5am. From people being loud to garbage being collected, all before 6am. But thankfully everything else was very good, including it being clean and the breakfast offered was very nice. I do recommend trying them as my experience may have been just a fluke.

My daughter and I stayed here in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene after being trapped in Banner Elk. Despite having no electricity, water, cell service, phone or internet the management, staff and everyone else there all came together as a community and worked together to do everything possible for each other and everyone there and to keep everyone's spirits high Despite all the tragedy and destruction. We will forever remember the smiling faces, kindness and support offered by the wonderful people here. May God bless you and yours.

Staff was very friendly. Had easy parking. It was clean and had comfortable beds and pillows. Although the shower head was tiny it done it's job. Could definitely use an upgrade on the shower head. But other then that breakfast was good and the stay was nice and quiet.

Thought it had a pool and it use too but its been drained and damaged. It did have a microwave and fridge in room which was a plus. No elevator so if you have a lot of luggage you wanna be on 1st floor

Our stay was great. Breakfast in the mornings was excellent as well. A variety of items so it pleases everyone. I'm not a coffee drinker so I'll add that you should offer a hot chocolate for those that want a warm drink in the morinng. This hotel was close to shops and restaurants that were great as well. I would stay here again if I make it back to this resort area.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to see The Land of Oz or going up here to ski. Great convenient location.lots of great restaurants around this area too.

The mostly-abandoned LAND OF OZ attraction opens for a weekend or two every September, and I traveled FAR to be there in 2024. This is THE place to stay for that event. It's warm, clean, and friendly.

When we pulled up I was a little nervous, especially when the rooms were accessed from outside much like old school Motels but when I opened the door to the room I was amazed. The room was very clean and beautiful! Very spacious and I actually loved the easy access to the parking lot etc. And our room was right across from the doors to the main lobby. Breakfast (Saturday) could be a little better but that’s the only complaint! Would recommend.

On check in i realized that i did not request a 1st floor room. I have a handicapped child travelling with me who cannot navigate stairs. The lodge had me booked on the 2nd floor, but they scrambled to meet my needs. They were wonderful and i cannot thank them enough for their care and consideration.
