When we arrived at 7pm there was no hot water. When we called to see if we could move to another room or someone could help, they said no one could help, but we were welcome to drive to the other hotel (in the rain and less than 40 degree weather) to take a shower at their gym. When I explained it was unreasonable to expect us to pay for 2nights at a place that had no hot water, they said the manager would get back with us the next day. They never got back with us, never fixed it, never offered refund. Incredibly disappointed with whole stay.

Super clean. Perfect for walking downtown. Assigned parking space. Microwave, hair dryer, fridge, coffee station. Water not very hot in shower, though. Check-in was smooth. Overall, would stay here again!

No hot water, knew there was a problem with enough hot water, but booked anyway. No solution or concern, no willingness or ability to check out early with a refund or to give any sort of credit related to the problem. The hotel clerk hung up on Expedia Customer Service when they called on my behalf to ask for compensation. Expedia representative was very kind and professional. Do not stay at Blowing Rock Inn

The staff was lovely and it was a great homey room. The room and bedding was clean except for the stains on the carpet floor - which we didn’t find to be a big deal. That being said we tried to shower that night after check in and a long hike but there was no hot water. Although frustrated, we did not complain and did the best we could. The bed slumped in the middle and we are not big people. Overall the room was great and it would have received four stars if we had hot water.

We enjoyed how close it was to all of the shopping and dining areas on Main St. The Inn was clean and comfortable. The staff was responsive and hospitable.

The property was lovely, vintage feel in a great location. The check in staff were super helpful with dining recommendations. Only downside was there was no propane to operate either outdoor firepit as mentioned at check in. I'll rebook for my next visit to Blowing Rock.

The positives were that the location was great, walkable to everything and the room was clean. The negatives.. there was NO hot water... It was maybe lukewarm at best. We called about it but it was never fixed before we left and was told they had problems in the past with it. Also the mattresses were hard which made for a not comfortable sleep. Not sure if I would stay here again....

The location is definitely the best feature of this older property. Management has definitely worked hard to make nice changes to our unit… painted nicely, good linens and mattresses, clean, and an overall cozy place to stay. However, the shower water at 8am was lukewarm; the screen door to our unit is off its hinges and the deadbolt doesn’t work. And, the floors rattle when you walk across them. Despite these issues, it was still a 4/5 stay for us.

Its an older Inn. Comfortable bed! . You had a microwave, keurig, noisy mini refrigerator, lots of electric outlets. Parking space right in front of room. Personal size shampoo, cream rinse, gel rinse, make up remover, lotion.
Large comfortable bed.
Such a great location to walk downtown to shops restaurants. Beautiful manicured gardens areas.
