Our coffee maker was broken and the plate that covers the electrical outlet was off and lying on the floor. We’ve stayed here for years but it’s time to do some maintenance on the rooms.

Room clean on arrival. Housekeeper came once, told her to come back in about half hour--room was never cleaned. Found electrical outlet plates missing. Plenty of pillows! Room comfortable. Arrived hour before checkin..desk clerk was not very friendly--very blunt. Told me check in was at 3:00 and to come back.I asked him if we could talk, and he said I could talk to him, but it would cost $50 if I wanted to check in now and to come back in an hourl Lady who checked me in at 3:10 was very friendly. Room was nice, clean and comfortable--nothing exceptional.

The outside was refurbished. Not quite the inside. Beds were old and saggy. anyone could bust through the window very easily. It’s supposed to be 3 ⭐️s but I don’t think it’s even 2 ⭐️. They did serve daily breakfast which I guess was ok. Plenty of parking and gas station across the street was convenient. Probably will not book them again.

Guest above were extremely noisy, we had to share with front desk multiple times. The front desk did handle it professionally. We believe that hotel has bed bugs as we had multiple bites on us after staying at the hotel. It seemed cleaned and we understand this can happen, but they need to be aware to fix the issue.

The staff was very friendly and courteous; the room comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed its convenience to area sights and dining choices. Breakfast was ample and the property, overall, was neat and clean. We were there in September, so the pool wasn't open, but it looked very inviting. Would definitely stay there again should the I have the opportunity to travel to Booths Bay again.

Glorified motel

The hotel is dated but room was large and comfortable. Had to ask for maintenance to fix hai dryer and coffee maker. Breakfast was blah. Paper plates and cups. Too few tables. Close to town but not walking distance. Exterior was a bit shabby.

Perfectly located for the activities we wanted to pursue. Staff very friendly and helpful. The exterior grounds were delightful. If we ever return to Boothbay Harbor I can’t imagine why we would stay anywhere else.

Ok if you can’t find another option

The room was marginal. Beds were not comfortable, there was a distinct musty smell and it looked like someone had kicked in the door and repaired the damage by nailing the trim back on with framing nails.
