outside property is not so appealing, its not ocean front but just about 2 minutes walk to the ocean. What amazed me is the staff. They are super friendly. It will surpass everyone expection. It feels a genuine service , not just because its their job. Overall I trully recommend this place.

Great friedly place to stay. Pros.....close to beach. Central to get everywhere. Staff works hard to clean, great, and make every effort to make your stay wonderfull. Cons.....limited hot water for showering. Personally it was hot out and cool showers were fine for me. I would definitely stay here again if i return

This hotel is a matter of taste to your liking. It's a little off the side street but easy to get too and close to the beach. The staff was really friendly which made the stay so much better. Our room didn't seem to have any hot water, barely lukewarm, but was bearable for me. Breakfast was pretty good and came with the room. The hotel is older but they keep it clean, but the swimming pool was really cold. The hotel helped us book a couple of activities which was really nice, although I didn't enjoy one of the activities but that's another story.

Great for large groups. Nice staff. One can borrow beach mats and umbrellas at no cost. Breakfast was relatively good. Defintiely appreciated the welcome drink.

Stayed previously in this property. It is best for large groups-- up to 8 in a room. Their staff are genuinely nice and helpful. Their breakfast is good, and the property is a rarity in that they don't repeat the entire menu for days on end-- there's always something new to look forward to.

The hotel is a bit outdated but the friendliness and great customer service of the staff makes up for it. If you don't mind the 5 minute walk toward the beach, itself is a plus. Take an e-trike to go to DMall for different food options or get an e-trike to different food locations. Remember to negotiate the price with the driver for a great deal. Overall, I won't mind using the same accommodation especially for a big family like ours (8 people in total) as they can comfortably accommodate big families. Other hotels would probably have us book 2 rooms but IL Mare was able to place us in 1 big room with 3 queen beds and 2 single beds. Tight quarters?! Sure, but being with family for bonding is not.

IL Mare is a great place for a big group. There are 8 of us and the accommodation thou only one room is very comfortable and enough beds. It's a bit dated but very clean and excellent customer service. The staff are very helpful and responds to requests promptly. If you don't mind the 5 minutes walk to the beach, its worth it. It's not as loud and busy as it's not a beachfront hotel. Only serves breakfast but there are different food options close to the hotel either walk to or ride the e-trike. I would recommend 👌

The staff are very friendly, accommodating, courteous, always around to give a helping hand. The breakfast buffet were fresh every morning and lots to choose from. Plenty of towels and toiletries needs. The staff are very happy to serve.

I had one of the best experiences ever at this hotel. The staff are attentive and make sure guests are well taken care of. Krizza was very professional and answered all of my questions. Argean is upbeat and professional. Rolly provided exceptional service . All the employees went out of their way to provide the best service.

Front desk staff is great, they will always provide a smile and are super welcoming. First few days the WiFi didn’t work on the second floor but the issue was taken care of. We loved boracay so much we even extended our stay here and at the same hotel!

The hotel staff was amazing always there they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe. I had things we needed very happy with the property itself. Would love to stay there again highly recommend this place due to the staff being so accommodating and kind.
