A nice place. The rooms are small but clean and everything worked perfectly. Very nice staff, especially Allison who helped us several times. The location is great and convenient to the old part of town which is fun to spend time in. I would stay there again.
The room was clean and spacious. The best thing about this hotel was the restaurant, the service and the quality of food was excellent. Great menu but not too overwhelming. The swimming pool was a little disappointing as there was nowhere to shower and change after and was a little cold
This hotel was super accommodating by storing our luggage for the day while we went on a tour. Weren’t in the hotel except to sleep, but overall, it was comfortable and the staff was helpful.
Very nice boutique hotel and close to the historic part of Bordeaux. Very helpful staff . Buffet Breakfast was a cold one , but nice variety - more than the usual croissants and coffee. An ideal base for a few days exploring Bordeaux. Try for a room on the second or third floors overlooking the inner courtyard. we stayed in room 5 which was dark and no view but a well appointed room. we were not in the room very much except to sleep anyway
Excellent location, within walking distance of the centre of Bordeaux, shops, landmarks etc. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is small and has a nice feel to it, unlike some of the large hotel chains. The local bus to the airport is about 5mins walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
Loved this choice of hotel front house girls were fantastic with their suggestions and any questions we had. Also able to borrow umbrellas for those wet days. Thanks will return
The hotel is a house, cute and quirky in a narrow one way street. Apparently there is parking available but it was full. Apparently breakfast is also available but when we were there the breakfast room was always full. The worst thing was that we were given a room on the top floor (everything else was full) and there is only a narrow, circular stair case to reach the top floor. It's OK on the way up but dangerous on the way down if you have suitcases as we did (and they were full). Our room was small with the toilet located right next to the bed in what had been a closet. Might be the place for a romantic afternoon but not much else.
A week-end trip to Bordeaux staying at La Cour Carree. Small boutique hotel that we both loved. Friendly helpful staff.
Nice decor and unbelievably quiet room.
Plenty to do in Bordeaux. Many good restaurants.
Convenient & safe location, with post office nearby (NE of hotel, about 4 blocks away) & just a 10min walk to Quinconnes. The only downside is the breakfast is on the expensive side even though it does not have hot food, but the lady there was willing to heat up the eggs in boiling water if needed. Some reviewers commented about the steep staircase, but it was manageable to me, and the hotel could help with taking heavy luggages up (btw the hours of 9am - midnight only). Would enjoy staying with this hotel again.
Lovely little hotel at a very convenient location just a short walk from Gambetta / Cours de l'Itendance. The staff were all very friendly and charming. The old building has plenty of character and the hotel has been well developed. The room was a very good size, but could use a few more creature-comforts and a few modifications here and there. The lack of lift is also a potential drawback, although the staff helped with luggage, so not a big deal. Given the price though, all considered this is a great place to stay and to be recommended.
Great hotel and friendly staff. My room was recently renovated, very clean, had sufficient space, and was comfortable. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. My only complaint is that they don't offer a laundry service. There's a full-service laundry about 10 minutes away (by foot), so not a big deal. My room had no closet/armoire and space for only 5 hangers, which could be an issue if you need to hang clothing. My room was on the street, but noise was not a problem with the windows shut.
