Solid stay. The shining feature of the hotel is the kind staff who are incredibly helpful with anything you need. The free breakfast was plentiful and had many options. The room was squeaky clean. On the other hand, our room was tiny. The hotel is situated on busy Via Gardesana, and the traffic noise was bothersome to me. They don't provide irons, which apparently is common in Italy, as our subsequent hotel did not either. They did show us an area where we could iron clothes if we wanted to. The on site restaurant did not provide any kid friendly dinner options. And the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking while we were in the room 3 different times which was pretty shocking to me. Overall, would not stay again.

Very nice,characterful and comfortable hotel with good facilities and a really friendly and homely feel. Slightly noisy if your room is close to the stairs , but overall, strongly recommended !
