Nice couple stay!

The staff was super nice from check in and throughout the stay! I loved the atmosphere. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed a small getaway from our house.

We had stayed here a few years ago when the property was newer and it was excellent. We stayed again in July but it had changed for the worse. The room had broken blinds, no remote to adjust a/c, and the pool gets used for kids swim lessons so hotel guests are not allowed during those times. No mention to us at check in even though I asked the pool hours.

This Aloft was perfect for our stay. Lexington is a great neighbourhood just 20Kms from downtown Boston. The property was super clean – modern design - friendly and had all amenities for our stay. TEN STARS!

New, clean, no bugs, reasonable rate.

Swanky place - very new. Think pinkies out with gen-x vibes. Reasonable price for the area. The breakfast was good and rooms were clean and bug free. We came to visit Revolutionary War sites - some within a few 100 yards of the hotel. The staff had never heard of Fiske Hill that is virtually touching the property. Parker's Revenge is just a bit further. Spend a minute or two telling the front desk the history in case visitors are interested - plus it's part of the reason their kitchen isn't serving beans on toast for breakfast (thank God for that)

Room was clean and modern, beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and breakfast was exceptional in the variety, we enjoyed the waffles with fruit and syrup. My son loved the pool.

The live music in the lobby on Saturday night was a nice touch. It was over-amplified, however. No need to crank it up so much in that small, intimate space. Room 104, which I had this time was good as usual. Very few complaints other than one reading light over the bed is not working, the conditioner in the shower had very little left and one modest use of it had it totally empty. Had it been more important, I would have asked for more, but that sort of attention to detail could maybe be imparted to the room cleaning staff. Overall, this hotel and its sister, Element across the way are my first choice stays when visiting the Boston area. Lexington is an outstanding place and removed from the hustle, bustle and stress of the inner city and downtown. Not having to deal with the Expressway is a plus! Far better than the competition out in Waltham, Woburn, etc. where stay when the rates at your properties are too high for my budget. Thanks!

1. The toilet seat was so loose that it would have been impossible for the housekeeper not to notice it; 2. The toilet did not fully flow out and surely did block up requiring maintenance to come and fix it; 3. The TV stopped showing all but the hotel chain ads, requiring maintenance to fix it; 4. The rules prevented my room from being made up any more frequently than every other day, whereas in the past it would be made up daily if I requested it - a marked change; The lighting in the room was insufficient at night in the bed area.

We were only here for one night. I assume this is a newer hotel as everything seemed to be in great shape. Rooms are on the smaller side, but well laid out. Staff were all very friendly.
